How much does it cost to book Dakota?

How long do you play for?
At weddings as standard we play from 8pm till 12pm with a break when the buffet is served. We can speak to the venue for timings so you dont have to worry. Other function times will be negotiated at time of booking, please call us with your enquiry.
Do you play music at the break?
Yes we can provide background music or your specific playlist at the break.
Will you play our special first dance?
Of course! If we don't already know it, we will learn it for you. Please let us know at time of booking or minimum of 4 weeks prior to your wedding.
How far do you travel?
The Universe! Travel expenses and possibly accomodation will be added to our fee if the distance is greater but we can and do travel anywhere.
What sort of music can you play and can you do ceilidh music?
We play a variety of music from 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's to current chart hits. We have a vast repertoire of music and are experienced in reading audiences and knowing which songs to play next to ensure a happy crowd and filled dance floor. We play rock, pop, indie, ballads, soul, dance you name it! Yes we can also play ceilidh music during our set. We normally play the Gay Gordons as standard (which is always fun)! but we can do 30 minutes worth of ceilidh including Strip the Willow, Canadian Barn Dance etc.
Do you have your own PA system and lighting equipment?
Yes, we come fully self contained with fully PAT tested PA system and lighting. We require around 1 hour to set up prior to the event.
Are you insured?
Yes, we have full Public Liability Insurance.
Can we come and hear you live before booking?
Definately! We love people to come and hear us live, live is always best. Give us a call or email and we can let you know where we are playing next so you can come along.
